I really wish I could rap.
Like really.
The past will always be there. It happened. It can never be erased. It cannot be altered. No matter how much you try to cut and paste, snip and rip, trim and taper, the past will still haunt you if you don’t look at it straight in the eyes and not let fear have the upper hand.
For every tear shed, there was a reason. For every cry let out to kingdom come, there was a reason.
Reasons are pasts. What’s done is done. It is finished. But you have the choice to react. To handle. To cope. To recuperate.
You have the choice of giving into temptations. To go back and open those doors once again. Let all the memories rush back into your mind and sit there until you recollect all the emotions you felt at that time until you’re almost in that exact moment for a split second and let your guard down as it controls you like a puppet.
The past is called “the past” for a reason. Life isn’t meant to happen exactly the same way of how it was then. But it is also in your power to confront your demons, move forward, say goodbye to what’s been, and enter into a new chapter. And the amazing thing is,
it can be anything you want it to be.
You are beyoutiful. And you best believe it.

Life is never always perfect and dandy; as blissful as a whole day on a private island beach with not a care in the world. We all have our shares of things to cry about, things to rip a phone book in half over, things to coop yourself in your room all day for, things to grab a piece of chocolate (or whatever suits you) and shove it down your throat hoping it’ll ease the pain.
In this life, one of the useful things I’ve learned is life doesn’t stop for you. People will leave you, emotions will fade away, everything comes to its end.
But throughout all the pressures of this world, God created a diamond out of mine.
Life isn’t perfect and will never be. But His love is.

Before I shaped you in the womb,
I knew all about you.
Before you saw the light of day,
I had holy plans for you.

Watch out for the temptation to take control where you have no responsibility or authority. Situations will arise that are startling and have the potential of throwing you into a tailspin, but you must not react with plans of your own to find solutions or to change things so that you will be more comfortable. You must settle in your heart the fact that things will happen that are beyond your ability to fix. That is when you can ask Me to give wisdom and direction beyond your finite understanding, says the Lord. Trust Me!
James 1:5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

My friend Jessica and I did a cover on Always by Hillsong and we added some of our own lyrics and free-worship into it.
This song means a lot to us and explains the love and desire I have for Jesus. Enjoy :)

Intimacy is defined as, In-to-me-see. It is when you choose to let another person see into your hearts and let them see you for who you really are. You let them see your weakness, your shame, your pain, all of your shortcomings. And yet, they choose to still love you. It’s when you find someone in this world who loves you not for what you do, not for what you have, but they love you, for you.
